The situation

A UAE professional services firm — 40 employees, ten years in the Dubai market, strong reputation among existing clients — was invisible in AI-generated search results. When prospective clients searched for their service category in ChatGPT or Perplexity, the firm was not cited. What was implemented

The outcome

Six weeks after go-live, the firm was being cited by Perplexity for three of its four practice areas in response to relevant GCC market queries. ChatGPT citations followed in week eight. Inbound enquiry volume from AI-referred sources was measurable for the first time.

The client attributed two signed engagements in the first quarter post-implementation to prospects who found them through AI search and cited the Perplexity citation specifically as what gave them confidence to reach out.
